Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer in Greater Cleveland Ohio. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining processes in the manufacturing system and supporting applications. The successful candidate will be instrumental in testing system changes, troubleshooting manufacturing problems, and improving manufacturing methods and processes.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with CNC programmers to design, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes

Develop, implement, and maintain data entry, engineering, and other support applications

Conduct system tests at CNC machine when necessary

Provide support in troubleshooting manufacturing issues as required

Play a key role in identifying and enhancing manufacturing methods and processes

Assist other CNC programming staff with computer programming and related technical issues

Contribute or lead in developing and reviewing procedures for computer programming best practices

Assist or lead in designing and enforcing source code control systems

Participate or lead as a team member in the development and implementation of manufacturing projects that advance strategic objectives.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software engineering role or related field

Proficient in backend development and bug tracking

Strong knowledge of API development and ASP.NET

Proficiency in CSS and Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET)

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL

Familiarity with G-code is a plus

Experience in AutoCAD software beneficial
