Job Description:

Title: GRC Security Analyst

Client Industry: Oil & Gas

Location: Houston, TX

Schedule: 100% Onsite Monday through Friday

Job Type: Contract until EOY 2025

Daily operational activity will be processing solution risk assessments, communicating system requirements according to Company standards, partnering with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance of solutions, and escalating to management any exceptions or deviations to Company standards. Will start on the Policy, Risk and Third-Party Security team to learn the Risk Assessment and exceptions processes.

Key Accountabilities

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments using current policy, risk and third-party security processes

Develop and implement effective GRC strategies and frameworks tailored to specific regulatory requirements

Provide expert advice to stakeholders on GRC best practices and strategies

Implement automation to continuously improve risk assessment processes

Consult on projects and security initiatives as they relate to the controls environment

Liaise with IT, OT and business teams on projects and day-to-day issues

Supports the team in the preparation and submission progress reports as required.

Creates and prepares documentation, reporting, and metrics.

Supports in gathering, defining, documenting, and clarifying business requirements.

Works cross-functionally on development and implementation of projects and ensures the success of projects/programs.

Required and Preferred Skills and Experience

Senior level, typically 7+ years of experience.

Understands advanced aspects of discipline and is viewed as an expert in a given field.

Applies broad range of competencies to develop solutions to complex problems.

Influences others to achieve objectives.

Often provides specialized/technical/functional guidance to others within department and/or business asset.
