We are looking for a SQL Server Lead for our client in Atlanta, GA / Frisco, TX

Job Description:
  • The SQL Server Lead will serve as a technical architect responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale, cloud-native data and application platforms.
  • This role focuses on database architecture, content management systems, microservices, and cloud integrations while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Expertise in MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Cosmos DB.
  • Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, OpenShift, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong background in enterprise application architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot and microservices.
  • Experience with REST API based integrations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Technical Architect.
  • Experience working with enterprise content management platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, cloud-native application and data architectures.
  • Lead database architecture using SQL and NoSQL platforms.
  • Design and support microservices-based enterprise applications.
  • Implement REST-based integrations and SSO solutions.
  • Develop content migration strategies and data mapping models.
  • Analyze and resolve performance issues across applications and databases.
  • Design dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Support DevOps automation and container-based deployments.
  • Contribute to architecture, design, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
Should Have:
  • Experience with OpenText, Documentum, FileNet, or similar ECM platforms.
  • Knowledge of ElasticSearch.
  • Experience with Apache Airflow.
  • Exposure to object-based storage systems.
Skills:
  • SQL and NoSQL database design.
  • Cloud architecture and deployment.
  • Java Spring Boot and microservices.
  • REST APIs and integrations.
  • Kubernetes and containerization.
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Qualification and Education:
