Description
TEKsystems is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager who will be supporting a portfolio where they assess applications and make decisions on future state, such as modernizing app, decommission, move to cloud, etc... They need someone who can schedule change requests and managing invoices. Need someone with an understanding of where the application is. They will work closely with Agile teams aligned to those products and manage projects across product portfolio and directly with external vendors. Projects mainly consist of deployments of feature enhancements to applications.
As an IT Portfolio Project Manager, you will work in close partnership with your Portfolio Manager and your respective IT delivery teams, playing a critical role in overseeing the successful delivery of Portfolios, Products, Programs, and Waterfall Projects within your assigned area of responsibility. You will manage project financials at expected levels of quality and accuracy against their approved budgets, including Forecasting, Accruals, Reconciliation, Amortization, and Capitalization, across all stages of the project lifecycle and while adhering to the standards and controls set by PMO Governance.
Will play a key role in managing third party delivery partners, proactively identifying risks, managing project financials, stakeholder communication, and all project status updates, documentation, and enforcement of PMO processes and best practices.
***Must have experience with Forecasting, Accruals, Reconciliation, Amortization, and Capitalization***
Required experience:
-15 years of application/IT Project Management
-Financial Management experience
-3rd party vendor management
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
