Job Details

Please note that this is a 1 year contract position.

Must be able to work Monday Friday, 6am to 2:30pm. Must be able to work overtime as required.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is Required.
Prior Experience in a manufacturing environment is Preferred.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet timelines.
Knowledge of aseptic technique.
Mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail, document tasks accurately and neatly.
Interpersonal skills: including working independently and as a team member.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.)

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee:
Needs to be mobile and able to independently transport themselves between various sites/locations, as dictated by the essential functions and responsibilities of the position.
Is frequently required to communicate with coworkers.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb, bend and stoop; and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time.
Must have manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Wear appropriate PPE (Lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes)
Work in a cGMP area and/or clean room environment
Overtime is required, as necessary

Responsibilities:

Schedule activities to meet the production plan for Filtration.
Perform sterile filtrations using peristaltic pumps and other equipment.
Monitor stock and supplies.
Accurately complete documentation in batch records, logbooks, forms and other GMP documents; Verify and enter production parameters per SOP and Batch Records.
Demonstrate training progression through assigned curriculum.
Knowledge of cGMP requirements to ensure adherence to compliance policies and regulations.
Wear the appropriate PPE when working in manufacturing and other hazardous working environments.
Proactively maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Take necessary action to eliminate safety hazards and communicate to others any observed unsafe behaviors.
