Role Title: Oracle Financials Project Manager
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire preferred (2-year roadmap)
Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL — onsite 3–4 days per week
Overview
Our client is embarking on a full-suite implementation of Oracle Cloud/Fusion and is seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Project Manager to serve as an internal program lead. This role will partner closely with the selected systems integrator, internal stakeholders, and executive sponsors to ensure successful delivery across planning, execution, and post-go-live phases. The position is designed as contract-to-hire for the right candidate, with long-term program work anticipated.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for the Oracle Cloud/Fusion implementation, with a primary focus on Oracle Financials.
- Act as the central coordination point between business teams, IT, and the systems integrator.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, risk logs, and status reporting.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and decision-making meetings with stakeholders.
- Ensure project governance, scope management, and issue resolution processes are followed.
- Oversee testing, cutover planning, user readiness, and adoption activities.
- Track deliverables to ensure alignment with roadmap, milestones, and success criteria.
- Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and transition to steady-state operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of IT project management experience, including complex enterprise implementations.
- Demonstrated experience managing Oracle Cloud/Fusion implementations (end-to-end preferred).
- Strong background in Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, and related modules strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to manage third-party systems integrators and vendor relationships.
- Experience working in hybrid environments with both business and technical teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
Ability to work onsite in Ft. Lauderdale 3–4 days per week
