Job Description:

Intro:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our Infrastructure Automation team. This team is responsible for delivering the software that powers infrastructure while managing massive scale and integrating emergent technologies. As a Data Engineer, you will work within one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments, developing and supporting analytic technologies to provide customers with timely and structured access to data. You will also play a critical role in designing and implementing platforms using both third-party and in-house reporting tools.

Job Description:

Develop and maintain analytic technologies to support customer access to large-scale data.

Design and implement platforms for reporting and analytics, focusing on Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).

Build and manage complex reports and dashboards to meet business needs.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

Model metadata and create innovative reports that identify patterns and anomalies in data.

Support and enhance the functionality of reporting tools and analytic platforms.

Must-Haves:

7+ years of related experience in data engineering or similar roles.

Strong expertise in BI reporting tools, particularly Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).

Proven ability to develop complex and diverse reports that meet business requirements.

Excellent analytical skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.

Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Requirements:

Advanced OBIEE reporting experience with a proven ability to design innovative reporting solutions.

Strong SQL skills for working with relational databases and querying large datasets.

Ability to partner directly with business owners to translate requirements into actionable insights.

Demonstrated capability to observe data patterns, spot anomalies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
