Job Details

Title: IT Support Specialist

Work Location: Princeton, NJ (Fully onsite)

Start Date: ASAP

 

Skills and experience for the role

  • 5+ years of experience providing hands-on software and hardware support for Windows and Mac OS
  • Experience supporting Android and Apple mobile devices, printers, and copiers
  • Experience providing AV support across a variety of technologies
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting a wide variety of technology issues
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), printing, and networking
  • Experience using device management systems, such as Jamf or Intune.
  • Understanding of IT asset management fundamentals
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs

Strong Preference

  • Experience with ServiceNow, Bomgar and CrashPlan
  • Experience supporting systems integrated with Active Directory or Entra ID
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices in computing
  • Previous experience working in higher education
  • Apple or A+ certified
  • Previous experience as a Mac Genius.

Required Education: At least a Bachelor s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field is required.
