Associate Engineer - Systems will support and maintain enterprise IT systems across Microsoft and AWS platforms. This role involves creating and maintaining solutions using Power Platform and SharePoint, managing AWS EC2 and FSx resources, and automating tasks through scripting. This role will also assist with managing Microsoft print services, thin-client infrastructure, and contribute to cross-functional projects. Additionally, the engineer will work alongside others assessing new products and solutions for use within the enterprise IT support. Strong documentation and collaboration skills are essential for success in this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Actively participate and contribute in SDLC activities such as; solution design, work effort estimation, assisting peers with technical challenges, and code reviews.

- Perform production support activities such as; monitor system processes, evaluate the outcome of system processes, work through system exceptions, and create processes to monitor and report on the overall system health.

- Create/modify artifacts and deliverables expected from the SDLC and change management process.

- Responsible for adhering to all established safety standards.

Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint.
Support and manage AWS EC2 instances and FSx file systems.
Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
Provide support for Microsoft Print Services, including printer server configuration and migration to future serverless solutions.
Assist with administrative tasks regarding WMS thin-client infrastructure.
Participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Document technical procedures, workflows, and system configurations.
Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
Vendor outreach and support requests where applicable.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 0-3 years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2-4 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role.
Working knowledge of:
Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
Microsoft SharePoint
AWS EC2 and FSx
Coding/Scripting (ex: PowerShell, Python) Microsoft Print Services
Thin clients and AWS Workspaces
Strong communication skills-able to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and lead small projects.
