Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Journeyman Automation Tester to join our team! In this role you will get to design and develop test automation scripts to create, enhance, debug, and run test cases against software developed for Defensive Cyber Operations.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Participating in SAFe Agile Software Development teams bringing automation of testing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), in a SAFe construct.
  • Analyzing test results and coordinate with the development teams for bug fixes
  • Analyzing the underlying causes of performance issues and provide corrective action
  • Developing automated test scenario and environments for performance testing
  • Coordinate, review, and recommend improvements with the testing team to develop performance test procedures, plans, and cases
  • Strong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentation
  • 100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, CO

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with 5 years of experience
  • Certifications: SAFe for Teams, International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Test Automation Engineer, ISTQB Agile Technical Tester within 12 months of start date
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance
  • Hands-on experience in developing Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) validation procedures, executing ST&E, and documenting results
  • Must be able to use all web methods like GET, PUT, POST, DELETE etc
  • Must be able to validate xml and json body using json parser
  • Must be able to Load and perform Security testing on web services
  • Know how to use the OAuth and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university
  • Top Secret OR interim/active Secret with ability to get Top Secret
  • DoD 8140.03 Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.
  • Familiarity with Defensive Cyber Operations Concepts

Salary Range:
$81,500.00 - $142,600.00
