We are seeking an innovative leader to join our team and lead the development of a cutting-edge DevSecOps framework that leverages AI agents to automate various phases of software development, including functional specification creation, unit testing, coding, integration testing, defect management, and production support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, expertise in DevSecOps and AI, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams to deliver innovative solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
*Lead the Development of a DevSecOps Framework**: Design, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive DevSecOps framework that integrates security, compliance, and governance into the software development lifecycle.
*Create AI Agents for Automation**: Develop and deploy AI agents that can automate various phases of the software development, life cycle including:
* Functional specification creation
* Unit test creation
* Unit testing execution
* Coding
* Integration testing
* Defect management
* Production support
*Strive for high Organizational Impact: Accelerate the software development lifecycle for all 1LMX products in order to reduce cost, increase quality and met program schedule milestones.
*Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)**: Design and implement a CI/CD pipeline that automates the build, test, and deployment of software applications, leveraging AI agents to improve efficiency and accuracy.
*Ensure Security and Compliance**: Integrate security and compliance requirements into the DevSecOps framework, ensuring that all software applications meet regulatory and industry standards.
*Lead and Collaborate with Portfolio Teams**: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and operations teams, to ensure that the DevSecOps framework is aligned with business objectives and meets the needs of all stakeholders.
*Monitor and Improve the DevSecOps Framework**: Continuously monitor and improve the DevSecOps framework, leveraging feedback from stakeholders and industry trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize the framework for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
*Generative Ai Enthusiast**: Be an GenAi enthusiast to encourage the 1LMX team to adopt Ai and automation within their software development processes by generating awareness, training and excitement around its capabilities and benefits.

Basic Qualifications

*Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience / combined education / specialized training)
*DevSecOps Expertise**: 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, with a strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance in software development.
*AI and Machine Learning**: Experience with AI and machine learning, including the development and deployment of AI agents for automation.
*Programming Languages**: Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
*CI/CD Tools**: Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
*Leadership and Collaboration**: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

*Cloud Platforms**: Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
*Containerization**: Experience with Containerization Platforms such as OpenShift and other Kubernetes variants.

*Certifications**: Certifications in DevSecOps, AI, or related fields, such as Certified DevSecOps Engineer or Certified AI Engineer.
*Industry Experience**: Experience in the software development industry, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing DevSecOps teams.
*Programming Languages**: Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.

Ability to work remotely

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
