What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, and 7 years of experience in data system design and support. In the alternative, will accept a Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, and 5 years of experience in data system design and support.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with the delivery and development teams to develop applications, provide direction, and participate in data governance, data standardization and data design strategies.
- Understand existing data structures and develop standards, processes, and audit reporting on enterprise data. Define vision, strategy, and principles for data management.
- Define standards for naming, describing, governing, managing, modeling, cleansing, enriching, transforming, moving, storing, searching, and delivering all data within the enterprise.
- Serve as the liaison between data consumer representatives and data solution development, integration, and governance teams. Inform and interpret data project sponsors.
- Understand and articulate how data is, or will be, used and implications on people, processes, products, and technology. Work across teams to leverage synergies and align data models with overall Information Architecture.
- Participate in developing the future state data architecture standards, guidelines, and principles.
- Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Must have:
- 5 years' experience in designing software deployment programs, developing program/project plans, staffing plans, budget estimates, status tracking, and overall reporting;
- 3 years' experience creating, reviewing, and communicating Cloud architectures for AWS, Google, and Azure, including transition planning, hybrid architectures, and monitoring of software and data systems working in Cloud;
- 5 years' experience creating and deploying extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes for a variety of commercial off the shelf (COTS) and custom software/data systems; and
- 5 years' experience in analyzing database queries and views to ensure optimal support, working with end users to implement the recommendations, and verifying efficacy of the implementations.
