Job Details
Are you passionate about innovative display technology and precision engineering? Apple's Mac Display Engineering team is seeking a talented and driven Display Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge flat panel displays from initial concept through mass production! In this role, you will serve as a key technical interface between system design, display electrical and optical engineering, mechanical engineering, and global supply partners. This engineer will own the end-to-end development of display modules-driving design, validation, and integration to ensure industry-leading visual experiences for millions of users. Join us and help shape the future of how people interact with Mac products through world-class display technology!
Description As a Display Engineer on the Mac team, you will play a key role in defining and developing next-generation display technologies. You will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, -including optical, electrical, mechanical, process, and panel design engineers-as well as serve as the primary technical contact with external display suppliers. Your responsibilities will include defining and reviewing the overall display module specifications, architecture, and performance requirements, particularly for OLED and advanced panel technologies. You'll own and execute meticulous validation plans, perform hands-on optical and electrical performance characterization, and conduct data analysis to ensure our displays meet Apple's world-class quality standards. You will work closely with system engineering teams to validate display modules at the system level, investigate and resolve display-related issues from engineering builds through mass production, and drive failure analysis efforts across vendor and internal teams. In this dynamic role, you'll contribute innovative solutions to elevate front-of-screen performance and user experience. International travel is required to support development and ramp at supplier sites.
