Position Summary
Seeking an experienced REMOTE Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Subject Matter Expert with strong skills in data integration, transformation, and application connectivity. This role is responsible for designing and implementing scalable data ingestion pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting Oracle APEX applications with reliable integrations. The ideal candidate has expertise in Oracle OCI services, strong problem-solving skills, and experience deploying solutions into production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an Oracle OCI subject matter expert, providing technical leadership in design, development, and deployment of cloud-based solutions.
- Create integrated and modular flows for JSON-to-database ingestion, leveraging OCI services and best practices.
- Develop and implement data quality checks and transformations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of ingested data.
- Build and manage function calls and notifications that integrate with the Oracle APEX logic layer to support application workflows.
- Drive the path to production, including testing, validation, and deployment of data integration solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and business stakeholders to align solutions with application requirements and business goals.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for data flows and integration services.
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services (Data Integration, Functions, Object Storage, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of data ingestion and transformation frameworks (JSON, SQL, ETL).
- Experience with Oracle APEX or similar application logic integration.
- Familiarity with data quality best practices, including validation, error handling, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in testing, deployment, and production support of enterprise data solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills
- Oracle Database administration or PL/SQL programming experience.
- Experience with DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) for database or cloud deployments.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid integrations.
- Prior background in data engineering or application integration roles.
