SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months

Description:
Project focus for Plant Maintenance: Re-implementation of SAP standard Plant Maintenance processes leveraging SAP Work Zone/task center and SAP Mobile. Identify and implement automations, new capabilities and additional reporting. Focus on personas including maintenance technicians; schedulers and permitting.
1.1. Roles and Responsibilities/Activities/Tasks
- Experience and ability to configure/implement applications in SAP Fiori, WorkZone, SAP Mobile, Task Center.
- Requirement Analysis: Conducting detailed studies to understand the client's business processes and requirements. This involves face-to-face meetings, video conferences, and workshops
- Solution Design: Designing solutions that align with the client's needs, including functional mapping to SAP applications and performing gap analysis
- System Configuration: Configuring the SAP Plant Maintenance module to meet business requirements. This includes setting up master data, maintenance plans, task lists, measuring points, and more
- Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of SAP PM with other modules like MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), CO (Controlling), and QM (Quality Management)
- Testing and Validation: Conducting system testing to ensure the configured solutions work as intended. This includes unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
- User Training: Providing training to end-users and stakeholders to ensure they understand how to use the SAP PM module effectively
- Documentation: Creating comprehensive documentation for all configurations, processes, and user guides
- Support and Maintenance: Offering post-implementation support to resolve any issues and ensure the system runs smoothly
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance system efficiency
1.2. Qualifications
The consultant must have:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with 8+ years of related experience and continued professional development, or 12+ years of combined post-secondary education and related experience with continued professional development.
- SAP S4 HANA Version 2023 Plant Maintenance certification (preferred)
- Experience in SAP Fiori, Work Zone, Task Center and SAP Mobile
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
