PLEASE NOTE: This is a 3 month Renewable Contract and needs to meet Client full-time conversion policies. Those dependent on a work permit sponsor now or anytime in the future (ie H1B, OPT, CPT, etc) do not meet Client requirements for this opening.
Qualifications: We re looking for an individual who can design, structure, , including project kickoffs, quality and performance reviews, and content updates; adhere to editorial calendars in support of campaign and content delivery deadlines; and ensure copy aligns with brand and content quality requirements. Desired skills include CMS, HTML and CSS, managing stakeholder expectations and multiple projects, project management tools, and transparent and collaborative ways of working. Position can be remote or hybrid- all based on experience and candidate selected. Page layouts/ building the pages... is 80-90% of this role.
- The team consists of three people, plus one resource in China. - They handle content design and publishing across ul.com and other regional/satellite sites. - The role involves publishing on ul.com using Drupal CMS. - The process: Business creative teams provide copy via an intake form, the team lays it out according to wireframes/design best practices, provides a mock-up, and publishes upon approval. - The team currently has around 100 open tasks. - A typical day involves checking for ready tasks, reviewing content briefs from the requestor, building pages/ page layouts, providing/ re-working mock-ups, and working on the next page while waiting for approvals
Key Responsibilities
- Building pages and making content updates.
- Helping with maintenance.
- Producing quality content.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and accommodating their preferences while also advising on best practices.
- Patience to go through changes on provided mock ups.
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of content management systems (CMS), Drupal preferred.
- HTML and CSS skills for working with code/ page building.
- Understanding of SEO and technical SEO.
- Knowledge of UX best practices.
- Graphic design experience.
- Metrics experience is a "nice to have".
