Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to support Product Manager Air Warrior's efforts to integrate capabilities across multiple Army Aviation Platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in investigation and solution of complex and difficult system design requirements and problems
- Serve as senior integration engineer for PdM Air Warrior supporting design, engineering, integration and testing activities of aircraft mounted command and control (C2) and computing systems.
- Review Statements of Work and contractor submitted proposals for all aircraft integration paragraphs to ensure the requirements sufficiently address airworthiness and ensure a robust design.
- Support design and engineering activities including reviewing Technical Data Packages including Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, Bill of Materials, Electrical Loads Analysis reports, Weight and Balance reports and other data required to ensure contract design criteria are met.
- Support test activities to include review of system and component level test plans, procedures and reports to ensure they meet contractual and airworthiness requirements. Interfacing with engineers at Systems Readiness Directorate to facilitate reviews of airworthiness documentation in accordance with established Airworthiness Requirements Memorandums, Airworthiness Qualification Plans and Statements.
- Perform integration activities including coordination and execution in support of multiple large scale Army demonstrations and events, unit training rotations and deployments. Provide on-site support for Air Warrior products during installation, checkout and execution of these events.
- Interface with the platform Product Management Offices in support of Technical Interchange Meetings, documentation reviews, Airworthiness Release requests and space/power claim discussions.
Job Requirements
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience. 10 or more years applicable progressively complex systems design engineering experience
- OR, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience. 13 or more years applicable progressively complex systems design engineering experience
- Extensive experience supporting integration of communications and computing equipment onto Army Aviation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Army regulations, acquisition policies and precedents, program goals and objectives, and work processes of the supported organizations, as well as relationships with other programs within ASA(ALT) and the Department of the Army.
- Receives guidance from senior level managers, functional leads and/or analysts to work as part of a team to accomplish the assigned tasks.
- Experience working with other Department of Defense (DoD) organizations as well as industry partners.
- Active DoD secret clearance is required to start.

- Skilled in interpersonal and intergovernmental communications
- Ability to create products (e.g., briefings) that are ready for PM/DPM and general officer-level review.

- Above average knowledge of Microsoft 365, to include, but not limited to Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Planner, PowerPoint, and Excel
