Work You'll Do

As a Project Delivery Specialist on the project, you will:
  • Oracle Database Management: Oversee and maintain large-scale Oracle Database environments (12c/19c), leveraging your expertise with RAC/Clusterware technologies (including RAC-One and ASM) to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • System Administration: Utilize your strong Unix/Linux system administration skills-particularly in shell scripting (Bash)-to automate operational processes, enhance system efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
  • Backup and Replication Solutions: Design and administer robust Oracle backup, recovery, and data replication strategies using tools such as Oracle RMAN, Data Guard, and Shareplex to safeguard data integrity and provide real-time replication support.
  • Monitoring and Automation: Implement and manage enterprise-class monitoring solutions to ensure database health, performance, and availability. Proactively automate backup/restore processes to improve resiliency and visibility across environments.

Qualifications

Required :
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Secret clearance for this role
  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Database Administration (12c/19c) in large, complex environments, including experience with RAC/Clusterware (RAC-One, ASM).
  • 5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration and shell scripting (Bash)
  • 3+ years supporting Oracle backup, recovery, and replication solutions, including Oracle RMAN, Data Guard, or Shareplex for real-time data replication.
  • 3+ years managing high-availability, auditing, and enterprise-class database environment monitoring, including automation of backup/restore processes.
  • 2+ years of experience in PL/SQL scripting, SQL query tuning, and implementing security hardening per DISA STIG or other compliance standards.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,800 to $171,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
