Senior Embedded Systems Engineer / BMS / Matlab / Simulink

A green energy company located in Northern Virginia is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to join their growing team. In this role you will be responsible for building a world leading battery energy storage system using model based engineering techniques. If you have a passion for developing cutting-edge software to help in the fight to move to a 100% renewable energy future, this is the role for you.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years professional experience
• Extensive experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS)
• Strong capabilities with C++
• Computing experience with Matlab and Simulink
• Experience in GIT / Bitbucket / Jira
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with Kalman Filtering
• Bachelors in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a product environment
• Experience with Electrical Vehicles
• Ability to work independently
