Job Details

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development, maintenance and testing of real-time embedded software in support of the ASR-9 Radar System.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Must be proficient with C or other high-level software language. 
  • Ability to learn a new language or prior experience with PLM-86.
  • Experience in designing, developing, optimizing, coding, testing, reviewing and debugging embedded systems with real-time multitasking operating systems.
  • Designs and develops code for physical hardware devices utilizing software applications to solve problems and implement systems.
  • Experience with utilizing a Logic Analyzer to troubleshoot embedded computer systems.
  • Validate and integrate new designs for the complex systems.
  • Track preparation and delivery status of required deliverables.
  • Attend and may lead meetings, design reviews, working group and briefings.
  • Occasional travel for installations and/or technical support if needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge in programming, developing, and testing an embedded real-time computer system is a must.
  • ship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or a Bachelor's degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and 7 years related work experience OR
  • Master's degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and 5 years related work experience.
