Job Details

Position: SAP EWM - Functional Architect

Location: Remote | 40% travel required (T&E reimbursed), travel may be to client sites in Boston, MA (primary) or OH.

Hours: Candidate MUST be available to work in EST or CST hours

Experience: 10-15+ years

As a Functional Architect you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing SAP solutions that enhance business processes. With a focus on SAP EWM Integration and S/4 HANA you will ensure seamless integration and efficiency in operations. Your expertise will drive innovation and support the company s strategic goals in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end architecture and solution design of SAP EWM implementations and enhancements.

Design and configure the SAP EWM module to meet specific business requirements, including setting up putaway and picking strategies, slotting, and dock scheduling.

Lead discussions and coordinate integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP, QM)

Oversee the integration of S/4 HANA Goods Issue and Goods Receipt to streamline inventory management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP solutions align with business objectives.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP systems.

Lead Data migration discussions related to EWM

Ensure the SAP solutions are scalable and adaptable to future business needs.

Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to maintain optimal system functionality.

Develop and maintain documentation for SAP processes and configurations.

Support training material creation

Provide training (TTT) and support to key-users to maximize the effectiveness of SAP solutions.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in SAP implementations.

Qualifications

Possess extensive experience in SAP EWM Integration and S/4 HANA Goods Issue and GR.

Possess in-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities, including warehouse order creation, wave management, advanced yard management, and labor management.

Experience in Life Science, Pharma or Chemical industry domains is highly desirable.

Familiarity with Finance & Accounting processes is a plus.

Proven ability to work in a hybrid work model effectively.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
