About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade Oracle database solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle architecture, performance tuning, and high-availability configurations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c) for mission-critical applications.
  • Implement database architecture, schema design, and data modeling.
  • Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Configure and maintain Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM for HA/DR.
  • Manage backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and ensure data security.
  • Automate database tasks using PL/SQL and scripting.
  • Collaborate with application teams for integration and performance improvements.

Required Skills

  • 12 years in Oracle database administration and architecture.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c).
  • Expertise in PL/SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Hands-on with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN.
  • Knowledge of partitioning, indexing, and advanced features.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager and monitoring tools.

Nice-to-Have

  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud (OCI) and migration strategies.
  • Knowledge of GoldenGate for replication.
  • Experience with security hardening and compliance standards.

Education

  • BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent. Oracle certifications (OCP/OCA) preferred.
