Job Details
Database Developer (Oracle (PL/SQL) + PostgreSQL)
Analyze, design, develop, and delivery/implement data solutions for OPHE applications using complex Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
Location: Albany, NY (remote)
Responsibilities :
Participate in the development and support of .Net/Tableau Web and Mobile Applications and services as specified by OPHE.
Develop stored procedures, packages, cursors and triggers in Oracle and PostgreSQL to support applications and integrate in-house applications with cloud-based apps.
Develop new batch processes for data migration, transformation and integrate additional data sources.
Experience with Cloud database technologies, preferably AWS
Participate in coding and enhancements.
Tune, script, and extract, transform, and load.
Support daily business operations related complex OPHE systems.
Run systems manually (test files, re-runs, troubleshoot) for exception cases.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
At least 5+ years of experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating tables, Packages, Types, stored procedures, cursors, triggers, views, arrays, collections and other objects.
At least 5+ years of experience with SQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle PL/SQL utilizing JSON data and Advanced Queuing to support web API and applications.
Experience designing and implementing logical and physical database models, including indexes, primary keys, foreign keys, and constraints.
Proficiency in database management systems such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
Strong SQL programming skills and experience with query optimization techniques
Proficiency in JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON.
Exposure to healthcare domain and .net are an added advantage.
Bachelor's degree in computer or information technology
