Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for IAM solutions such as SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, Azure AD, etc.
  • Develop user guides, configuration manuals, API references, and integration playbooks.
  • Write standard operating procedures (SOPs) for identity lifecycle events (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, access reviews).
  • Work closely with IAM engineers, architects, and security teams to gather accurate technical details.
  • Translate complex IAM concepts (e.g., SAML, OAuth, SCIM, RBAC) into digestible content for diverse audiences.
  • Document access control policies, audit procedures, and compliance workflows (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining up-to-date documentation of IAM controls and processes.
  • Participate in IAM system testing to validate documentation accuracy.
  • Update content based on system changes, upgrades, or new integrations.
  • Organize content using structured templates and version control systems.
  • Publish documentation in internal portals, wikis, or knowledge bases using tools like Confluence, SharePoint, or Git.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with technical writing tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Markdown).
  • Familiarity with IAM platforms like SailPoint, Okta, Ping, Azure AD, or CyberArk.
  • Ability to write for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent research, interviewing, and editing skills.
