About the Role


We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with NetSuite expertise to lead post-go-live stabilization, optimization, and adoption for a defense manufacturing organization that recently implemented NetSuite. This role is critical in ensuring the system "sticks" - empowering end users, improving workflows, and driving long-term business value from the platform.


The ideal candidate is both a hands-on NetSuite consultant and a strategic PM, equally comfortable managing stakeholders, running workshops, and rolling up their sleeves to troubleshoot and refine system processes.



Key Responsibilities




  • Post-Go-Live Optimization




    • Drive configuration refinements, workflow adjustments, and system tuning across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing modules.




    • Own the backlog of stabilization issues and enhancement requests, prioritizing based on business impact.






  • Training & Adoption




    • Deliver clear, engaging end-user training sessions tailored to functional areas (Finance, Operations, Manufacturing).




    • Develop and maintain training documentation, SOPs, and quick reference guides.






  • Project & Stakeholder Management




    • Act as the bridge between business users, IT, and external MSP/consulting resources.




    • Manage timelines, risks, and dependencies for stabilization and improvement initiatives.




    • Provide regular status updates and ensure alignment with operational and compliance needs.






  • Continuous Improvement




    • Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.




    • Document system design, role permissions, and customizations for long-term maintainability.




    • Partner with operations leadership to ensure the system evolves with business growth.







Qualifications




  • Experience:




    • 5+ years of NetSuite functional/technical consulting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or defense environment.




    • 3+ years of project management or Technical PM experience in ERP or enterprise system rollouts.






  • Technical Skills:




    • Strong working knowledge of NetSuite configurations, workflows, saved searches, and reporting.




    • Familiarity with SuiteScript, integrations, and release management is a plus.






  • Functional Skills:




    • Exposure to Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing modules.




    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business value.






  • Soft Skills:




    • Excellent communicator, facilitator, and trainer.




    • Strong documentation, organizational, and change management abilities.




    • Collaborative mindset with a "hands-on" approach.
