Avaya File transfer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in Avaya File Transfer systems to manage, implement, and support secure data transfer solutions across enterprise environments. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Avaya-based file transfer workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, implement, and maintain Avaya File Transfer solutions.
• Monitor and manage secure data transfer processes across multiple systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to file transfer protocols, connectivity, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Avaya solutions with enterprise applications.
• Ensure compliance with data security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical documentation, SOPs, and user training.
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Avaya File Transfer systems.
• Strong knowledge of file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, etc.).
• Familiarity with Avaya communication platforms and integration tools.
• Experience in Linux/Windows server environments.
• Understanding of networking concepts (firewalls, VPN, routing).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for working with clients and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise integration tools (e.g., IBM Sterling, Axway, Oracle MFT).
• Knowledge of automation scripts (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
• Exposure to cloud-based file transfer solutions.
• Prior experience in telecom/finance/IT services domain.
