Hello, my name is Thomas Gillitzer and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Data Engineer (Software Development & Python) for a prominent client of ours. Details for the position are as follows:



Job Description: $80-$90 Hourly - W2 Only
  • Establishing data workflows for predictive tools to enable more effective identification, characterization, and development of medicines and vaccines.
  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, often using Python (and sometimes Java) to ingest, transform, and deliver data.
  • Work with both structured and unstructured data, from various sources (legacy databases, APIs, cloud storage, etc.).
  • Strong Python programming skills focused on software development (beyond data scripting).
  • Cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Version control (GitHub or equivalent), CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to build production-ready software and custom tools for data ingestion and database interaction.
  • Degree in computer science or related field; or a degree in the chemistry disciplines with strong programming capabilities.
