Job Description Summary:

The Workday Finance Analyst serves as the Workday technical subject matter expert, provides Finance/SCM system administration and support, and performs system configuration, enhancement, and deployment efforts. This role will serve as an active partner, collaborating within IT, HR and with leaders, to provide strategic workforce analysis and develop data-driven talent insights. Additionally, this individual will serve as the liaison between business teams, third party vendors and IT for system integrations, enhancements and issue fixes. The Workday Finance Analyst will demonstrate high proficiency in project management, data analytics and reporting, communication with leadership, as well as system knowledge, process analysis, and configuration abilities.

This person in this role will support various Workday Finance business system modules and provide escalated tier support of issues and various project initiatives. This is a very hands-on role with the opportunity to support the Workday Finance system for Florida Cancer Specialists for one or two system areas including core finance, accounting, suppliers, procurement, projects and reporting modules.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree is preferred OR 4 years of appropriate professional experience

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Workday Financials Partner or Pro certification is preferred, Valid state Driver s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.

Previous Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in ERP platforms eliciting business requirements, developing detailed systems specifications, designing, and prototyping, testing, defining support procedures, data conversion, and implementing business process improvements.
  • Solid understanding of Accounting fundamentals
  • Good understanding of internal controls
  • 2+ years of experience configuring Workday Financials with an emphasis in Workday business processes and custom validations in 2 or more of the following functional areas; Suppliers, Procurement, Assets, Expenses, Cash Management, Accounting (Customer Accounts/Customer Contracts/Projects)
  • Adaptive Insight experience strongly desired
  • Proficiency in multiple business processes: (PTP, OTC, GL, FA, Budgeting, Cash Management, etc.) preferred.

Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration, and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician, and community relations.
  • Self-Management: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development. Self-motivated and self-starter with ability work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work remotely effectively as required.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook required.

Travel: 0-25%

Standard Core Workdays/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. Weekends, evenings and call requirements as assigned for continuity of patient care.
