Job Title: Salesforce Business Analyst & Product Owner
Location: Remote
Duration : 6+ Months
About the Role:
We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst with Product Ownership skills to drive business value through Salesforce Revenue Cloud and related Salesforce solutions. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker who stays on top of Salesforce updates and emerging features, ensuring they are effectively leveraged to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will be based near Walnut Creek, CA, or Tempe, AZ, enabling close collaboration with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating business needs into well-defined user stories and requirements.
- Own and prioritize the Salesforce product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends, identifying opportunities to enhance business processes.
- Lead discovery sessions, requirement workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather and refine business needs.
- Define and optimize end-to-end quote-to-cash (QTC), billing, and revenue recognition processes, ensuring smooth business operations.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Developers, and Administrators to design scalable and efficient solutions.
- Conduct impact assessments for new Salesforce features, recommending enhancements that align with business strategy.
- Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing) with ERP, finance, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and business rules for Salesforce initiatives.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, and IT teams to drive adoption and optimize user experience.
- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and facilitate training sessions for end users.
- Identify and track key KPIs and success metrics to measure the impact of Salesforce enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Product Owner, preferably with Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, data models, workflows, and automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, Apex triggers, etc.).
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and backlog management tools (JIRA, ADO, or similar).
- Proven ability to analyze, document, and optimize business processes in Salesforce environments.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce release cycles and ability to translate new features into business value.
- Experience in revenue operations, finance, or quote-to-cash workflows is a plus.
- Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification is required; Salesforce Revenue Cloud or CPQ certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to proactively identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
