DTS is looking for Senior PeopleSoft Developer for our client position based in Adelphi, MD

Position Summary

A Higher Education Client is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Developer to support Phase 1 of a PeopleSoft Enhancements & Solution Development initiative, focused on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (Student Systems). The consultant will lead technical architecture, development, integration, testing, deployment, and documentation for system enhancements in Student Financials, Academic Advisement, and related modules. This is an on-site role requiring direct collaboration with client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Process Ownership & Development

  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Lead the design and development of customizations, enhancements, and integrations within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
  • Utilize Application Designer, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, and Oracle SQL to deliver solutions.

Testing & Deployment

  • Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Lead deployment activities and provide production readiness support.

Knowledge Transfer & Support

  • Provide documentation for developed solutions.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and debrief sessions to client teams post-implementation.

 Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience with PeopleSoft, including 5+ years with Campus Solutions(Student Financials, Academic Advisement).
  • Proficiency with Application Designer, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, Oracle SQL, PeopleTools 8.56+.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-stream environment.
