Job Details
Job Title : Python Developer
Job Location : Remote (must be able to work PST)
Key Technology : Python, Flask, Panda, SQL Scripts,
What You Will Do:
- Expand an existing developed tool to extract data from the modelling software into a Microsoft SQL database for the resource planning department
- Work closely with the business to understand the requirements and assist them in creating Agile user stories
- Work with a vendor to change the existing data extraction from binary to Apache Parquet format
- Work in an Agile framework participating in two-week sprints
Required Skills:
Required:
- Three years minimum experience developing Python applications including libraries Flask and Pandas.
- Three years minimum experience creating and optimizing SQL scripts.
- Ability to gather requirements from business users and successfully implement a project.
- Must be able to work with business users to determine the requirements and implement them
Desired:
- Knowledge of using JIRA for Agile development. Experience with Agile framework. Experience with Apache Parquet format
