Job Details

TEKsystems client is looking for an experienced Windows Server Engineer to join our team. Please apply if interested. Successful candidates will have experience with the following:
No C2C (Must work W2)
Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule onsite 3 days a week in Charlotte, NC
Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of experience with large-scale enterprise Windows environments, including design, capacity planning, system setup, security, performance tuning, and monitoring.
  • Experience supporting three-tier architectural web applications in a Windows Server environment.
  • In-depth working knowledge of Windows Server OS (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Proficient in networking concepts, Windows Firewall, DNS, DHCP, and security best practices in a Windows ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration.
  • Design, develop, and implement Ansible playbooks (or equivalent tools like DSC or SCCM) to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
  • Perform extensive troubleshooting and technical support for both hardware and software issues in Windows environments.
  • Knowledge of TLS/SSL certificates, including management of certificate stores, container formats (PFX, CER), and understanding of certificate chains.
  • Experience with configuration, usage, and troubleshooting of Load Balancers (e.g., F5, Citrix ADC, AVI Networks).
  • Experience with VMware or Hyper-V for creating, managing, and maintaining virtual machines.
  • Must have experience working on large, complex projects with cross-functional teams in enterprise environments.
  • Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $72.00/hr.
