- Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Software Quality Assurance Tester to join our team.
JOB OVERVIEW
This role performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, overseeing the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance (QA) section of IT-SEDS. The role involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing systems.
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with: o Testing complex Web Applications o Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with advanced Database/SQL Language.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with API, JSON, and XML.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with WAPT Pro, JMeter, or other performance testing tools.
PREFERRED- Minimum of five (5) years of experience testing reports.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in API testing (SOAP, REST).
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Zephyr Scale and JIRA.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases.
- Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against HTML, PDF, and Excel.
- Reports, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail
- Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
- Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team.
- Execute performance and accessibility testing.
- Perform manual testing and data validation.
