Job Details
Must have own transportation and valid driver's license; this role requires travel between County locations.
Installs and supports new devices along with accompanying software/operating systems including computers, tablets, projectors, cameras, etc.
Coordinates the repair of laptop computers including performing diagnostic procedures
Performs routine diagnostics and maintenance with multiple operating systems
Installs, configures, and tests applications and other supported software packages as well as new releases for supported systems
Performs network support and troubleshooting duties
Provides consultation and/or training on the operation of technology equipment and software packages
Troubleshoots hardware, software, and mobile device issues Integrates knowledge and skills from a range of technologies to address work assignments and problems of moderate complexity
Coordinates with vendors when necessary
Participates as team member on small and/or large projects
Records activities in the work order system
Updates/Creates internal supported system documentation
Required Skills
Associates Degree in a related technology area
Minimum of four (4) years experience installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and
maintaining device software
Knowledge of Windows and Apple hardware and software platforms
Ability to perform technical tasks with minimal supervision
Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb a ladder
Desired Skills
Certifications such as CompTIA, A+ certification, HP Certification, or other hardware
vendor specific certifications
