Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Data Center Operations Engineer with strong hands-on experience in managing physical and virtual data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily operations, ensuring uptime, performance, security, and scalability across data center environments.

This is a fully onsite role in Atlanta, GA (Monday through Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data center operations for both physical and virtual infrastructure.

  • Handle server and network hardware including Cisco, Dell, and Palo Alto devices.

  • Perform structured cabling for data centers including rack-and-stack operations.

  • Oversee power, UPS, and cooling systems to ensure optimal operational conditions.

  • Provide remote hands support and execute break/fix activities.

  • Monitor uptime, performance, and capacity planning.

  • Enforce access control, security compliance, and operational standards.

  • Support enterprise-grade and edge data center environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Data Center Operations Engineer / Support Engineer / Technician.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of server installation, networking hardware, and cabling.

  • Experience managing power and cooling infrastructure.

  • Familiarity with enterprise IT environments.

  • Availability to work in PST hours despite being based in Atlanta.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
