Job Description
TEKsystems is engaged in a multi-year TGS contract with Michelin to provide onsite support at each of their sites throughout North America (US and Canada). At each of our supported locations, Onsite Support technicians are responsible for resolving customer PC and device issues, conducting, maintaining and managing leased PC asset inventory and PC leased lifecycle, deploying and configuring PCs and installations and providing PC operations support. Responsible to execute their responsibilities within established SLAs and high levels of customer satisfaction.
We are looking for someone who intends to support a desktop environment for a long-term commitment, caring leadership and strong team environment.

Onsite at Michelin location in NS. Manufacturing plant with offices.
Deskside support includes laptop/desktop, phone, printer support, network hardware and server hands and eyes for Network and Server vendors.
Additional Information
This is a 3 year contract with extensions- we've had people on this team for 12+ years!
M-F 8am-5pm
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Job Description

At each of our supported locations, Onsite Support technicians are responsible for resolving customer PC and device issues, conducting, maintaining and managing leased PC asset inventory and PC leased lifecycle, deploying and configuring PCs and installations and providing PC operations support. Responsible to execute their responsibilities within established SLAs and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Provide On-Site, in-person technical support to Michelin employees.
- Create and manage tickets in ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution based on contracted SLAs.
- Deploy and refresh supported PCs, printers, and network devices (switches, APs, wireless controllers).
- Maintain computer room and network closets according to Michelin standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment (EUX, NET) in ServiceNow, managing equipment from receipt to disposal while adhering to lifecycle processes.
- Deploy and support (IT) Audio/Video equipment deployed in conference rooms. Support business video events as needed.
- Execute assigned tasks required to support ongoing project deployments.
- Provide on-call P1/P2 support, rotating after-hours support with team to address critical issues and serve as the "Hands and Eyes" for the network team.
Requirements:
- IT Support experience (5+ years preferred), resulting in technical skills with network, audio/visual, PC support and other IT technical infrastructure hands-on skills.
- Must be professional in demeanor and adhere to site-specific dress code policies.
- Must be a strong collaborator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve quality results.
- Team player with the ability to quickly learn new skills.
- Willingness/ability to work in an industrial environment using the proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, etc.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
