Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Workato Lead / Integration Architect to design, develop, and lead the implementation of end-to-end integration solutions using Workato's intelligent automation platform. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and development teams to enable seamless data flows and process automation across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Design

o Lead the design of scalable, secure, and maintainable integrations and automations using Workato.

o Define integration architecture patterns, best practices, and governance for the enterprise.

o Develop solution blueprints and reusable components for rapid automation.

  • Development & Implementation

o Build complex recipes in Workato, leveraging custom connectors, SDKs, and APIs.

o Integrate with systems like Salesforce, Netsuite, SAP, ServiceNow, Workday, Slack, Jira, and databases.

o Monitor, debug, and optimize existing recipes to improve performance and reliability.

  • Leadership & Project Management

o Lead and mentor a team of integration developers and automation specialists.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

o Drive end-to-end project delivery and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.

  • Security & Compliance

o Ensure integrations adhere to data governance, security, and compliance policies.

o Manage access controls, error handling, and audit trails in integration flows.

  • Stakeholder Engagement

o Act as the Workato SME in discussions with business users, IT, and partners.

o Provide demos, training, and documentation for business and technical users.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration or automation roles.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workato (must-have).
  • Strong understanding of APIs, REST/SOAP, webhooks, and data formats (JSON, XML).
  • Proficient in integrating ERP, CRM, HRIS, and custom enterprise apps.
  • Experience with custom connector development using Workato SDK (Node.js).
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workato Automation Pro Certification(s)
  • Experience with iPaaS platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, SnapLogic) is a plus.
  • Background in software development or scripting (JavaScript, Python).
  • Exposure to data privacy frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Agile/Scrum project experience.
