Description:
Exhibit a strong ability to quickly learn new technologies and provide guidance to other teams
Work agnostically to deliver tasks from user stories on time and without defects
Track effort on ongoing tasks and provide updates in daily stand-up to the project team
Configure and maintain AKS clusters, Nginx ingress controllers and Dapr service mesh.
Write and maintain Dockerfiles, Helm charts and Azure pipelines to build and deploy .NET Core and NodeJS web applications to AKS clusters, Container Apps and Azure App Services.
Configure metrics and log-based monitoring, alerting and visualizations using Azure Monitor, Prometheus and Grafana.
Import existing Azure infrastructure into Terraform and design and automate provisioning of new infrastructure solutions.
Assist developers and SRE's (Site Reliability Engineers) in troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues.
Create and maintain wiki and markdown documentation.
Write pipelines to package and distribute libraries and application installers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of Project Management Tools - Such as ADO (Azure Dev Ops - preferred), or Jira
Represent the development team in discussions with project team and stakeholders regarding DevOps approach
Participate in code reviews of peer's work product to provide feedback and identify defects
Ability to effectively operate and drive results in undefined and highly ambiguous scenarios
Strong analytical skills, combined with a strategic orientation, as well as an aptitude for solving complex business problems.
Technical problem-solving and skills using data analysis and escalation management in a complex environment.
Experience managing projects with multiple work streams and partners; demonstrated strategic planning abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to impact & influence key stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to identify cross-team differences, lead a positive collaboration and resolve issues.
Experience with Dapr or other Kubernetes service mesh.
Experience configuring Kubernetes admission controllers to enforce security policies.
Familiarity with advanced Kubernetes autoscaling techniques such as KEDA and cluster overprovisioning.
Experience with private Kubernetes clusters and GitOps deployment model.
