Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Program Manager to join our dynamic team. As an IT Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of complex IT projects/Programs within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and business analysts, to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and senior management on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are delivered within allocated financial resources.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to successfully complete their tasks.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance future project delivery.
  • Handle the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including the creation, evaluation, and selection of vendors or service providers.
  • Organize and facilitate Steering Committee meetings, involving key stakeholders to provide strategic guidance and decision-making for projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Experience / Background

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management
  • Proven experience successfully leading and managing multiple, parallel complex IT projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management and working with offshore teams.
  • Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
