Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Director to lead and oversee the technology infrastructure and operations within our organization. Based in Live Oak, Texas, this role requires a visionary leader who can align IT strategies with business objectives while managing daily operations and long-term initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven ability to drive innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic IT plans that align with organizational goals and foster long-term growth.
Lead and mentor teams responsible for infrastructure, service desk operations, and cloud systems.
Optimize daily IT operations across multiple locations, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of systems.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure operational excellence.
Collaborate on cross-functional IT projects, integrating enterprise tools, collaboration systems, and jobsite technologies.
Drive the adoption of modernized and automated processes to enhance IT operations.
Manage risk and security protocols, including disaster recovery planning and backup systems.
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, overseeing contracts and budgets for infrastructure-related services.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards in partnership with the Information Security team.
Partner with IT project managers to deliver infrastructure projects on schedule and aligned with business priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in leadership roles.
Proven ability to manage IT infrastructure and operations within industries such as construction, engineering, or field services.
Expertise in cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, virtualization, networking, and endpoint management.
Strong knowledge of technologies including backup systems, Cisco networking, and cybersecurity.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated success in leading IT service desk operations and driving strategic IT initiatives.
Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets, vendor contracts, and technology investments.
