Cloud Computing Applications Architect, Senior
The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based te chn ical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve the Intelligence Community? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of our client's toughest problems.

On our team, you'll manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud te chn ologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment using cloud capabilities. Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you work with your client and migration teams to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.

You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you'll broaden your skill set by applying leading-edge cloud principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new cloud principles and concepts while developing critical systems for the Intelligence Community.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience with quality and process management
  • 5+ years of experience managing operations of cloud and SaaS environments
  • Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow
  • Ability to develop cloud te chn ical operational procedures and manage team execution of procedures
  • Ability to analyze processes, gaps, and resolutions, and share lessons learned
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED


Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure Cloud te chn ologies, including Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with Intelligence Community cloud environments
  • Experience managing security processes in cloud or SaaS environments, including security scans, documenting findings, and implementing remediation plans
  • Experience with Jira or similar tools, and supporting operations and 24 / 7 cloud or SaaS environments
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Intermediate or Asso cia te level and above Cloud Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
