Role Purpose

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Oracle Apps SCM Consultant specializing in Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and associated VCP modules like Demantra. In this pivotal role, you will engage with diverse stakeholders to implement, configure, and support Oracle R12 SCM applications, focusing keenly on planning, sourcing, and supply chain optimization. Your expertise will directly influence the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes, contributing to the overall success of projects and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Oracle ASCP enhancements in R12 environments, ensuring that solutions are tailored to specific business needs.
• Configure and manage planning setups, source instance configurations, and data collections within distributed planning environments to optimize performance and results.
• Engage collaboratively with business stakeholders to identify supply chain challenges and creatively translate them into effective Oracle solutions utilizing constrained and unconstrained planning models.
• Offer functional expertise in Global Order Promising (GOP) and Available to Promise (ATP) processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between ASCP and other Oracle SCM modules, including Inventory and Manufacturing, fostering a cohesive working environment.
• Participate actively in enhancements, system upgrades, and innovative development projects, focusing on continuous improvement.
• Assist in integration efforts between Oracle EBS and external systems, ensuring comprehensive system compatibility.
• Employ your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues independently, utilizing SQL/PLSQL as necessary.
• Document functional designs, test cases, and user training materials comprehensively to facilitate knowledge transfer and training effectiveness.

Required Skills:

• In-depth functional knowledge of Oracle ASCP and VCP modules within R12 frameworks, showcasing a strong command of system capabilities.
• Proven hands-on experience with Demantra, GOP and ATP functionalities that drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Expertise in planning setups, source instance configuration, and data collection processes that enhance productivity and accuracy.
• A solid understanding of Inventory and Manufacturing modules in Oracle R12, ensuring comprehensive system integration.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze requirements and effectively map them to Oracle SCM solutions, improving overall efficiency.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for debugging and analysis, facilitating effective troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to seamlessly collaborate with IT and business subject matter experts and stakeholders.
