Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Kansas City KS - Onsite Role
Contract role
Fix supplier quality and engineering issues impacting GCA, Direct Run and Warranty.
Solve problems using Red X and other tools as applicable.
Assist production in preventing defects and recommend process improvements.
Collaborate with suppliers on SPPSs and ensure robust corrective action.
Share Lessons Learned with Engineering to prevent repeat design or build issues.
Review nonconforming parts and sub-assemblies for proper initial disposition and root cause.
Coordinate periodic system and process audits at the plant and supplier facilities.
Coordinate engineering change implementation. Assist in running PTRs (Production Trial Run).
Solve problems using Red X and other tools as applicable.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, ISO/TS 16949, and other automotive quality standards.
Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
