Job Title: Cisco Cloud Voice Design Engineer

Location: Remote EST (Falls Church, VA)

Compensation: $75-$80/hr

Contract Length: 12+ months - W2 only

Must haves:

Comfortable with ocassional travel to the northern virgina area

Must be Up-to-date on vaccinations/immunizations

Available to support EST hours (8am start time)

Avaya -> Cisco Cloud migration experience

We're looking for a Certified Cisco Cloud Consultant with the following qualifications:
  • Proven experience migrating from Avaya to Cisco platforms
  • Deep expertise in cloud design, telephony, and network architecture
  • Strong understanding of enterprise communication systems and scalable infrastructure

This role is critical to our ongoing modernization efforts, and we're looking for someone who can lead both strategy and execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Architectural Design: Lead the design of cloud voice telephony solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Migration Expertise: Prior experience with managing and executing migration projects from Avaya to Cisco platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
  • Consultative Approach: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and develop tailored solutions.
  • Infrastructure Analysis: Assess current telephony infrastructure and identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • SaaS/Voice Architecture: Develop and implement SaaS-based voice architecture solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Networking: Ensure robust networking solutions to support voice telephony systems, including troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in telephony architecture, with significant experience in migrating from Avaya to Cisco platforms.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Avaya and Cisco telephony systems, infrastructure management, SaaS/voice architecture, and networking.
  • Consultative Skills: Strong ability to engage with stakeholders, understand their needs, and provide expert guidance.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects to successful completion.
