Job Details

Job Title: Senior Data Administrator/Architect (Oracle & Cloud)

Duration: 8 Months

Location: Austin, TX( In Person Interview)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand business objectives and problems; identify alternative solutions and perform cost/benefit analyses.
  • Analyze user requirements, operational procedures, and existing system issues to automate processes or improve systems.
  • Collaborate with organizational personnel to gather detailed input/output requirements, including data formats and reporting needs.
  • Document user needs, program functions, and development/modification steps for computer programs.
  • Assess system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested changes.
  • Modernize legacy systems by implementing modular and scalable data solutions.
  • Optimize database performance and ensure secure cloud deployments.
  • Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams to enable agile delivery.
  • Uphold architectural governance and best practices for data management.
  • Ensure secure, accurate, and efficient management of data across legacy and modernized systems.
  • Leverage expertise in Oracle, AWS, and cloud-native architecture to support enterprise transformation initiatives

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of Experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • 8+ years of Proficient in Oracle Database architecture, administration, and performance tuning
  • 8+ years of Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) configuration and management
  • 8+ years of Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.
  • 8+ years of Proficient in writing complex SQL, PL/SQL, procedures, and performance-optimized queries
  • 8+ years of Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Guard and high availability/disaster recovery strategies
  • 8+ years of Familiarity with cloud-native database services and PaaS offerings
  • 8+ years of Experience in database backup, restore, and recovery operations using RMAN
  • 8+ years of Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, including understanding of cloud-based data storage options, cloud security considerations, and best practices for deploying applications in the cloud.
  • 8+ years of Develop and maintain enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting.
  • 8+ years of Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics in healthcare.
  • 8+ years of Ability to work in DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines for database changes

Preferred Skills:

  • 8+ years of Experience transforming monolithic, on-premises data structures to microservice-aligned schemas
  • 8+ years of Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps
  • 8+ years of Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • 8+ years of Fundamental understanding of the Information Management principles, IT processes, SDLC, architecture and technologies adopted by an organization.
  • 8+ years of Customer-focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • 8+ years of Proactive Leadership style; self-starter and strong attention to detail.
  • 3+ years of Proven experience within an integrated eligibility case management system.
