Job Description:
OBR Team (Office of Business Rep)
This role will focus on the IT Disaster Recover side of things
Less focused on business continuity planning and more on the IT side
Focused on all elements of DR
Helping to write and review policies and standards
Reviewing requests from clients or legal
Execute the DR tests and plans
Analysis of DR solutions
This is an active program and an analyst role that will help fulfill the day to day operations
Collaboration and coordination of the DR.

Insurance/Financial industry experience
ISO Standards
ServiceNow (Knowledge use of some type of CMDB tools is desired)

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
This position will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of IT disaster recovery responsibility. S/he will be the primary interface between Application Development teams, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, and others to ensure recoverability of critical Lincoln applications and business services. This position will focus on all aspects of the technologies supporting IT Disaster Recovery, including backup and replication, server virtualization and recovery, capacity management, cloud/AWS recovery solutions, and third-party service provider DR capability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and programs for ensuring the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology.
Conducts risk management analysis and develops recommendations for technology solutions with a focus on recoverability.
Assists with the organization's resumption plan including identifying and securing necessary off-site resources and ensuring action plans are in place and communicated to IT and operations teams.
Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for IT Disaster Recovery technology and solutions, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new IT Disaster Recovery trends, developments, and best practices in current and future solutions.
Reviews and provides input into IT Disaster Recovery plans and procedures, Business Continuity and Contingency plans, and/or site and data center recovery plans.
Identifies and promotes the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve IT Disaster Recovery readiness across the team, department and/or business units.
Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on assignments/projects for IT Disaster Recovery and associated technical solution
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
