A Business Analyst - Mobile Product is a crucial member of the Mobile Product team, responsible for enhancing existing products and identifying opportunities for new ones. This role requires an individual to become an expert in the mobile industry, understanding customer needs, competitive landscapes, and future trends.
What You'll Do
Key responsibilities include conducting market research, evaluating products, and generating reports with recommendations based on data analysis and trend identification. You'll translate business needs into detailed requirements for new products and features, collaborating with Product Managers to define user journeys, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Your insights will directly inform the product roadmap and resource allocation. This role involves significant collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership.
Qualifications
We're looking for a strategic, curious, and detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of customer needs, technology, and business strategies. Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential for thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate can adapt to changing technologies, manage multiple priorities, and work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Jira, and Lucidchart is also expected.
Experience
Candidates should have 5+ years of Product/Business Analyst experience, with a preference for 2+ years in the Mobile/Wireless Industry (ideally with a Mobile Carrier or MVNO).
