Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of full-stack software solutions front-end, back-end, database and APIs.
- Define and evolve the technical architecture (microservices, cloud, APIs, data) to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Mentor and coach other developers: set development standards, conduct code reviews, promote best practices (security, testing, performance).
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, UX/UI, and operations teams to translate requirements into technical deliverables and align solutions to business goals.
- Champion security, regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and data privacy in all layers of the stack.
- Own and drive technical debt, continuous improvement, monitoring, and feedback loops to maintain system health and allow rapid evolution.
- Oversee deployment pipelines (CI/CD), automate builds/tests/deployments, and work with DevOps/infrastructure teams for a robust supply chain.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level communications: technical roadmaps, architecture summaries, status updates for leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years (or appropriate senior-level) experience in full-stack software development, including front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proven experience in leading or mentoring a development team or a technical lead role.
- Strong proficiency in one or more back-end technologies such as Java, Node.js, Python, .NET; and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or similar.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare, retail, or regulated industries.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies, data streaming (Kafka), big data, etc.
- Experience with Agile and other software development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Experience in end-to-end product lifecycle, including architecture review, deployment, monitoring, and operations.
