Description
Our client is seeking a highly experienced SAP Developer & Master Data Governance (MDG) Senior Consultant to join their SAP team in Corning, NY. This role requires expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP MDG configurations, workflows, data governance, and development with a strong emphasis on hands-on execution and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:
Ensure MDG-relevant S/4 configuration is synchronized across systems
Collaborate with the S/4 configuration team to identify and resolve sync issues
Create and execute test data in the MDG system for validation
Support unit testing through data upload tools and collaborate with the MDG data team
Manage communication between MDG and S/4 configuration analysts for distribution channel updates
Lead or contribute to successful data governance and migration projects
Independently solve business and technical problems, with minimal mentorship
Troubleshoot complex technical issues within defined service-level agreements (SLAs)
Support system outages and high-pressure incidents with cross-functional collaboration
Guide Basis team during issue resolution and system troubleshooting
Leverage OSS notes for issue resolution and system optimization
Work within ServiceNow for ticketing and issue tracking
Participate in break/fix support, minor enhancements, and project tasks
Participate in on-call rotation for production support
Deliver solutions meeting SLA and coding standards
Analyze software requirements and perform feasibility assessments

Requirements:
Strong configuration experience with SAP Master Data in SAP MDG and S/4
Proficiency in SAP MDG workflows, governance models, and BRF+ rules
Hands-on development experience in SAP S/4, MDG, Fiori, ABAP, Workflow, BRF+, SOA services, BADI s, OO ABAP, and IDocs
Capable of writing BPDs, FSDs, TSDs, and configuring RICEFW objects
Experience leading at least two SAP HANA capability implementations or migrations
Proven ability to collaborate across all organizational levels
Functional experience across SAP MM, SD, and FI from a master data perspective
Experience with address validation via HANA Smart Data Quality and MDG consolidation
Knowledge in cutover activities and E2E integration testing
Experience defining replication models and BADI usage for SOA services
Capable of configuring and extending MDG workflows for automation and governance
Strong debugging and testing experience in MDG environments

Professional Experience:
10+ years of experience with S/4 HANA, SAP MDG, and techno-functional SAP development
Expertise in MDG configuration and development for MDG-C / MDG-S / MDG-M / MDG Consolidation
Exposure to SAP development including CDS Views and ODATA services is a plus

Bachelor's Degree (required)

Certifications:
SAP MDG Certification (preferred)
