Role: FSI Techno-Functional Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ”. [Hybrid 3 days/week]
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Techno-Functional Analyst to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a critical role in guiding our technology team in building a cutting-edge PnL, IP Valuation, Reconciliation, and Exception Adjustment tool. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial products, valuation methodologies, and basic accounting standards, ensuring that our solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate closely with the technology team to design, develop, and implement the PnL, IPV, Recon, and Exception Adjustment tool.
· Serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
· Guide the development team in understanding complex financial concepts and ensuring accurate implementation.
· Conduct thorough analysis and validation of financial data to support tool functionality and ensure reliability.
· Provide insights and recommendations on valuation methodologies and accounting standards to enhance tool effectiveness.
· Lead workshops and meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, and align on project goals.
· Identify and address any discrepancies or exceptions in financial data, implementing corrective measures as needed.
· Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve tool capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
· Must be onsite at client in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ at least 3 days/week.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a techno-functional role, preferably in the financial services industry.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience with financial products, including derivatives, equities, fixed income, and other asset classes.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience with valuation methodologies and basic accounting standards.
· Proven experience in guiding technology teams to develop financial tools or systems.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively liaising with cross-functional teams.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Excel, SQL, or similar analytical applications.
